The Inspiration Behind Our Logo

I (Jess) was an extremely talented artist when I was young. As life changed over the years, I stopped drawing and painting. I had only picked up a pencil a handful of times over the last 15 years, and even when I did draw, it was just small simple drawings. The last thing that I have drawn was what I considered to be a poor quality-sketch of my mare Annie, just to show my daughter how to draw a basic horse. A few years later, Annie and I had a horrible riding accident and I lost my beloved mare. Although we have had, and still do have, many amazing horses that we love, there was something different and special about Annie.

So even though my Anna is no longer with our family, we decided to transform that poor quality-sketch I did into our logo to honor her, and remind us of the many lessons she taught all of us.
